Combine the Chinese neighbourhoods and head spa in one day: begin with Thien Hau Temple and a short walk, have lunch, then take a car to SOL. This flexible itinerary suits travellers who prefer fewer stops and more time at each.
The head spa stop is SOL at 801 Trần Hưng Đạo. This is the store, not Thien Hau Temple.
A day with walking, lunch and rest
Leave the morning for the temple and streets, choose lunch, then plan head spa in the afternoon. Afterwards, return to your hotel or continue elsewhere. Use a car for longer transfers rather than walking the whole route.
This order is a suggestion. Food, transport and sightseeing are arranged separately. Confirm your head spa time first, then work backwards for departure and lunch.
Morning: Thien Hau Temple and nearby streets
Thien Hau Temple in the Chinese neighbourhood is at 710 Nguyễn Trãi and is commonly called Chùa Bà Thiên Hậu in Vietnamese. Notice the roof, decorations and temple spaces before a short walk nearby.
Follow the site’s entry and photography rules and dress for comfortable movement and a religious setting. Allow more time during worship or busy periods rather than placing the next booking too close.
There are temples with similar names. Check “710 Nguyễn Trãi” in navigation instead of relying on the Chinese or English name alone.
Lunch at your own pace
Choose wonton noodles, dim sum or another meal from the menus available along your route. This itinerary does not designate a must-visit restaurant or include food in the head spa price. Adjust the stop to your appetite and the day’s conditions.
If it is hot or you are tired, combine lunch with an indoor break, then take a car to SOL. If you prefer longer exploring, discuss a later head spa slot.
Afternoon: a 90-minute head spa at SOL
The 90-minute head spa includes washing and drying, head and facial care, ear care, shaving, nail trimming and muscle stretching. One therapist costs 700,000 VND. The 120-minute one-therapist package is 850,000 VND and adds conditioning, scalp exfoliation and hot stone related care.
Tax and service charges are included; tips are optional. Allow arrival, discussion and onward travel in addition to the service itself, especially before another timed booking.

Explore Vietnamese head spa to choose your duration and check two-therapist prices on each product page.
District 5, Chợ Quán and navigation
Travel information still often calls this area District 5. SOL’s current address is 801 Trần Hưng Đạo, Chợ Quán, Hồ Chí Minh. Chợ Quán is a ward name following administrative changes, not another name for all of former District 5.
Enter the full number and street in Grab, then check SOL’s name, map pin and pickup point. Plan a car transfer from the temple; use the day’s navigation for the actual route and time.
See SOL’s address and Grab guide for the entrance and map. If you continue downtown in the evening, book onward transport to that specific address.
