If you like oil and warmth, start with hot stone massage. If pressure and assisted stretching appeal to you, explore traditional Thai massage. Actual techniques and your comfort are more useful than assuming one country’s massage is always stronger.

SOL oil and hot stone massage combines manual techniques and warmed stones.

Oil and hot stones: warmth with manual techniques

SOL’s oil and hot stone body massage combines oil, manual techniques and warmed stones, with attention to the shoulders, neck, back, legs, arms and head. Its defining feature is the use of warmth alongside hands-on massage, rather than simply leaving stones in place.

Some guests prefer warmth; others care more about pressure. Ask for adjustments during the session, including less heat, lighter pressure or avoiding an uncomfortable area.

Traditional Thai massage: pressure and stretching

Traditional Thai massage, Nuad Thai, includes pressure, kneading and assisted body stretching. Compared with a package defined by oil and hot stones, look particularly at stretching range, positions and how much your body moves during the session.

Shops may use “Thai” for different combinations. Check whether a package includes oil or stones, what stretching is involved and how pressure is discussed. SOL’s current in-store body ranges are oil and hot stone massage and Chinese wellness massage; choose using their actual product descriptions.

Package prices include tax and service charges. Tips are entirely optional. Therapist numbers refer to the therapists serving one guest; friends travelling together choose a package for each guest.

SOL’s 90- and 120-minute hot stone packages contain the same services, with different time allocations. In the two-therapist option, both therapists serve one guest throughout; it is not a shared package for two guests.

A private two-bed room is available by request for an additional 200,000 VND per room, with massage packages charged separately. Explore four-hands massage for therapist and room choices.

Choosing comfort during your trip

A busy walking day does not mean your next massage needs stronger pressure. Useful preferences include focusing on the shoulders and back, enjoying warmth, wanting lighter pressure or avoiding wide stretches.

If you have pain, an injury or health concerns, consult a healthcare professional about suitability before discussing the service with us. Massage is offered for relaxation and does not replace medical assessment.

For hair washing, drying and facial care, Vietnamese head spa may better match what you want.
